Hi, everyone! First, an update on the baby. A checkup this week went great. We (including Marcus) heard the baby's heart "beeping," as Marcus said. It was a strong, fast heartbeep, just like Marcus had. Uh-oh. Another boy?
Later, we took in the fair in spite of the insane heat. Here are a few pics. Click on them to enlarge if you'd like.
The alien cup Marcus has been asking for, for about a year now.
Marcus is mocking the pose of the race car driver in the cheese sculpture (oh yes, cheese sculpture) behind him. 
One-thousand, three-hundred sixty pounds of cheese. It will be ground up and used as animal feed after the Fair.
Marcus' favorite activity: Feeding the goats carrots.
Of course, you wouldn't want to get too close.
Another of our favorites was the horse show. Afterward, we went to the horse barn and looked at the draft horses.
