Metra: Marcus' Mother's Day Present

This is a picture of Metra the Dimetrodon, Heather's Mother's Day present from Marcus. I asked Marcus what he thought Mommy might like for Mother's Day. He thought for a minute and said, 'hey, Mommy's a dinosaur girl, isn't she?' I said 'yeah, I think so.' 'Well, then,' he said, 'let's get her a girl-colored dinosaur!' We hit the dollar store and found the perfect dinosaur.

Welcome to the world of Marcus Burnette. This is a strange place in which dinosaurs still roam the earth and four-year-olds aspire to careers in paleontology (which, as Heather and I have learned, is someone who studies the fossils of dinosaurs). We think you'll like it here, but beware. Marcus' favorite dinosaur, the 'Teen Rex,' is often fierce and frightening.
